A Collective Resurrection...

When we look honestly at the level of pain, fear, devastation, and corruption affecting humanity, nature and her inhabitants, and the earth in general, it really isn’t that surprising that a worldwide virus has “shown up” in 2020... a year that at a profound level represents “perfect Holy Vision,” and at a more obvious level, represents “perfect 20/20 vision...”

For too long we have chosen not to look at and seek real healing for all of the pain and suffering on this earth, both personally and collectively. For too long for many of us, when pain and fear are present in our personal lives, we choose “not to look at the real source” of the problems. Instead we either ignore our problems or blame ourselves or others for the pain, rather than looking clearly at what the pain is trying to reveal and ultimately awaken to healing within us.

For those who have a feeling that this extraordinary time is about much more than healing a virus that is “reported as” infecting the world, Easter offers us some powerful metaphors and messages. And interestingly, metaphors were often used by Jesus to help others understand how to truly live in love and forgiveness. How to truly live as he lived on this earth.

This Easter, having experienced the collective crucifixion in the form of a “reported” pandemic, it is now up to each of us to decide whether we choose to look upon our resurrection... or not. With Jesus’ crucifixion and subsequent resurrection, there were those who believed and chose to look upon it as the affirmation that our Spirit can not die and that we are One in God. And, there were those who did not see his death and resurrection as an affirmation, for various reasons. The same will likely be true for this time in history. It will finally be time for some to look upon our personal crucifixions and seek the gifts of resurrection with the Vision of God always available to us, while others will not yet choose to call on the perfect vision of God to heal the seeming crucifixions.

For those who choose to look with limited vision to the seeming problems of and in the world and who look with the same limited vision of and to the world to heal pain and problems, real healing and resurrection will not be experienced… yet. Instead, some will continue to feel pain from the “effects of the world.” This idea was echoed in the words of Einstein when he shared, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

The consciousness that created this pandemic is one of fear and lack and looking to solutions based only in the world. But there is another consciousness we can look to and from for real solutions. For those who are ready to accept the beautiful invitation this pandemic offers each of us, and to take radical responsibility for reclaiming our own mind, thus allowing the remembrance of Spirit to heal literally everything, the possibilities for real healing and wellness, personally and collectively, are endless…

Though Easter is traditionally a Christian celebration, the story of Jesus’ resurrection is not limited to any religion. Jesus himself wasn’t even Christian. His story is one of a Godly man who came to the world to live as God and to teach love and forgiveness. And he lived what he taught, even forgiving those who crucified him saying, “Forgive them, they know not what they do.”

So too, with this worldwide crucifixion being experienced during this pandemic of fear, there will be those who will choose to take personal responsibility and will see the path to a personal and collective resurrection, and those who do not yet have the “eyes to see” another way of healing and resurrection, and one that has very real effects in the world, yet is not “of the world…” And, should we begin to judge or blame anyone else for not seeing “things” the way we might see them, we can help heal the world, and hasten our resurrection by remembering and truly living what Jesus came to teach us, “Forgive them, they know not what they do.”

We can choose to remember that all is truly well, and that the path for a collective resurrection lies within our own heart and mind. The only heart and mind we are here to truly change and also protect from the fear-based thoughts of “outsiders,” is our own. And as we return our beautiful mind to our eternal Christ-Mind, aligning with the real Source for real solutions, the path forward becomes clear and joyful. And though I know this sounds “esoteric,” it is also the very practical way we will heal not only this pandemic, but more importantly, the fractured minds that invented this pandemic of fear…

Many of us have thoughts and beliefs as to why the (media, government, tech and medical industries’) “declared pandemic,” appears to be happening at this time in the world, and what it means for us personally and collectively. And we can choose to blame or heal, ourselves and others. We can choose to judge or forgive, ourselves and others. We can choose to go forward in fear or in love, for ourselves and others. Each of us has the opportunity to live from a place of resurrection and Love - just as Jesus lived.

Easter is about our choosing to live Love over fear as much as it is a beautiful story from 2,000 years ago. Jesus shared that we too can live in peace though there will be suffering in this world. He knew that we could do the same as he, as he was able to “overcome” the world by seeing, with “Holy Vision,” to the Truth/Light/Spirit/God within everyone that lies beyond this world. John quoted Jesus as saying, “You too may have peace. Here on earth you will have troubles. But take heart and have courage. I have overcome the world.”

Jesus’ story can serve as a map for living a path of Love in this life and Jesus himself can continue to serve as a guiding Light throughout our journey, if we so choose. Even a little willingness to open to a real way of peace and love will begin the real healing process. “Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door will be opened.” (Matthew, 7:7.) We each hold the keys in our minds to unlocking the doors and walking through them. And once we have allowed our minds to be opened, real world solutions will follow.

Opening the doors in our mind to the Love and healing of God, literally creates openings in the physical world. The answers, however, will come in the form of what we are asking for. In other words, if we are asking out of fear, we will hear fear-based answers. When we are asking for the mind and heart to be opened to the highest path of Love, allowing all obstacles of fear to be removed, we will develop the “eyes and ears” to recognize and follow the path of Light, effecting real and beautiful healing in this world, though not “of this world…" This Easter can truly usher in a collective resurrection… if we only ask…for Love to Light our Mind…
